I know it can be vulnerable sharing your story, so here's an icebreaker question to get us started:
What's one small way your faith has helped you through a difficult time? Maybe it was a particular Bible verse or devotional that brought you comfort and strength when you needed it most.
My example is "For I know the plans I have for you,โ declares the Lord, โplans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11. I would repeat this verse to myself when I was struggling to get back on my feet. It gave me the courage to keep trying even when things felt impossible.
I can't wait to read your responses and see how God has worked in your lives in big and small ways! Remember, you're among friends here. Let's uplift and encourage one another as we walk this journey together.โค๏ธ

Hello,
My name is Kimberly. My favorite verse that has built my faith through many seasons is Pslam 139 v. 23-25. This verse always flushes me with tears. I've always tried to hide my feelings, self doubts, fears and mistakes. Although sometimes, I would resist dealing with the issues of my heart. At times, I would ask GOD to open my heart because I was lacking trust in him and forgiveness. There was certain periods of time in my life, where I just did not know how to forgive and that has left me with so many blockage. So, when I am reminded of this verse, I think of just trying him over and over again because he knows my heart posture. Just by building my faith over again and trusting GOD there has been significant changes in my life and I no longer lack certain things. Moreover, there has been some peace in my life and my thoughts are no longer all over the place. This is all by building my faith.
Hello,
My name is Michaela and there are so many but the one that stands out to me the most is Bishop TD Jake's Woman Thou Art Healed and Whole 90 day devotional. This was during a time my whole household broke apart and it helped me remain stable. I remember getting my mom her own copy and her reading it as well.
Hi There,
My name is Mary. I am so happy that you created this safe space. I look forward to learning. My favorite go to scripture is Jeremiah 1:5, beacause sometimes I struggle with my identity.
